High
Speed Stability
The Spring Control CCSB improves the ride quality,
curve negotiation and overall stability of railcars even at
high speeds. That saves fuel and wear.
And because the Spring Control retains its design preload
longer than elastomeric bearings, you'll replace or adjust
them less often, and that saves you even more.
High Speed Stability
This graph shows the Side Bearing plot of the G's Forces (RMS)
for speeds up to 80 MPH. The G's are shown to be significantly
below both the M-976 and RP-803 value of 0.13 G's RMS and
the Chapter XI value of 0.26 G's RMS, respectively. This
test result is typical for all the test segments of the TTCI
test track zones. |
