Barber S-2-E is the next generation of Variable-Damped lightweight
freight car trucks designed by Standard Car Truck Company.
This new truck offers all the benefits of a radial truck
with the operational efficiency of a three piece truck plus
a weight savings through the patented ASF lightweight manufacturing
process.
The S-2-E offers more loaded car variable damping than any
other Barber truck design for superior bounce and roll control.The
S-2-E also offers more loaded car warp stiffness than any
other Barber truck design, for longer wheel life. |
