Subject: Deletion of Rule 26 from the Field Manual

On November 12, 2002, Circular Letter c-9542 was issued soliciting comments on a proposal to delete Rule 26 from the Field Manual.  In addition to the deletion of Rule 26, several additional changes were identified in Rules 36, 80, 83 and 90.

This is to advise that no comments were received to the solicitation and as such the proposed Rule changes become effective on January 1, 2003, and will be included in the 2003 Field Manual.
