Subject: Revision to Rule 36 Correct Repair Chart -- Group B

TO THE MEMBERS AND PRIVATE CAR OWNERS                                                                                             File Number: ADR-10042

At the request of the Wheels, Axles, Bearings and Lubrication Committee, a proposal to editorially revise Rule 36, Group B Correct Repair Chart was reviewed and approved by the Arbitration & Rules Committee.  The change as shown in the attachment below recognizes the conditional approval of Roller Bearing Industries Inc. 6 X 11 and 61/2 X 12 roller bearing as new qualified 19 on the chart.  Certificate number 29 and the color gold for the locking plate has been assigned to this product.

The Price Master of the Office Manual will be revised to reflect this editorial change of adding qualifier 19 in the October 2000 Supplement.  The Field Manual revision becomes effective with the release of this letter and will be included in the 2001 Field Manual.
